What is Vanilla JavaScript? Is it different from JavaScript?

Hi friends, welcome back to my new blog hope you are all well. Let's discuss the topic without wasting too much time.

So what comes into your mind when we talk about Vanilla JavaScript?

I don't know yours but when I heard this first time I felt that this would something additional to JavaScript. Like a cherry on the cake, something more than basic JavaScript.

But let me tell you that it is nothing but a simple javascript. I imagined it more than it is... The term vanilla script is used to refer to pure JavaScript (or we can say plain JavaScript) without any type of additional library.

Like ice cream

There are thousands of flavors of ice cream. But the default, ordinary “flavor” of ice cream is vanilla. If you order “unflavored ice cream” what you’re ordering is vanilla ice cream.

So the concept carries over to JavaScript.

What is the best way to learn Vanilla JavaScript?

It depends on person to person. For some, it is easy to read books and practice the syntax on their own. For some, it is easy to learn through YouTube videos or other videos provided by institutions and practice the syntax. But in both ways, there is one common thing that is practice.

Yes, you need to practice in any case to master JavaScript. It is not just about Vanilla JavaScript, practicing is beneficial for any language.

If you are a beginner then it might take some time, you may understand after practicing two or three times or even more it depends on person to person or the teaching ability of your teacher but the reality is this you will find it easy once you will be familiar with this language. Sometimes it will happen when you will not find the logic behind learning a topic in js but trust me and carry on with it, slowly and gradually you will find answers to your queries.

Hope this blog will help you in many ways in your career.

ThankYou :-)
